Entertain 20 of your closest friends and family this summer with an outdoor rib-extravangza hosted at the South Minneapolis home of consummate dinner party people, Curtis Larkin and Jayne Dow. Curtis, who honed his rib-smoking chops with the award-winning Chi-Town Smokers Competition BBQ team, will serve up rack after rack of his Chicago-style ribs smoked to absolute perfection. Accompanied by all the accouterments to delight any proper Southern BBQ connoisseur featuring smoked maple bacon bites (ummm, bacon) cheese grits, jalapeño corn bread, blue-cheese cole slaw along with the signature flavor of Jayne and Curtis' very own super-premium artisan ice cream, Sundae Vanilla, topped with a warm fruit compote. Have no doubt; wipes will be required. Wine and beer will be paired for the event and served in moderation. Agreed upon date to be determined with hosts.

Dancing with the Twin Cities Secret Stars
Who are the Twin Cities Secret Dance Stars? People like yourself who love to dance….when no one is watching, or in a crowd of people. This is your chance to dance with a Professional or Amateur Competitive Ballroom Dancer to show the world what you can do. The audience will be the judges and you may be surprised to find that the spirit of your dance is as important as the technical qualities…..and the Grand Champion will walk away with the trophy.
To have a dance with the pro/am dancer of your choice, sign up on their dance card. The suggested contribution is $20 per dance.
Each pro/am dancer's top contributor is eligible to participate in a dance where the top Secret Star dancer is determined by audience applause. The trophy goes to the top Secret Star and they are invited back next year to kick off the 2015 event.
