Dancin' with the Big Band
A fundraiser to benefit The Camden Promise Food Shelf, Awesome Summer Kids Program and other outreach initiatives, The Spirit Moves 2013, Dancin’ with the Big Band is set in a 1940’s style supper club featuring big band music, dancing and lively entertainment.
The Spirit Moves event will include special guest performances by Manuel Covington, entertainer from Atlanta, GA; Yolanda Williams, vocalist; Jerry O'Hagan Orchestra; professional and amateur dance demonstrations; swing dance lesson; open dancing; silent auction; fund-a-need; dinner and desserts. Valet parking. Cash bar.
This event will raise awareness of the issues facing the residents of the Camden community in Minneapolis, encourage involvement with The Camden Promise - networks, talents, volunteerism, gifts - and raise $30,000 for the outreach programs of The Camden Promise.
